The Light & Atmosphere Toolkit brings together 26 creative effects designed for composite artists, digital artists and photographers who want more control over the mood and atmosphere of their images.
Use the light overlays to introduce soft directional light, add snow for movement and depth, or use the atmosphere brushes to build fog, mist, smoke, particles and other effects exactly where you need them.
The effects can be layered, resized, masked and adjusted, giving you the freedom to make them work with your image rather than forcing your image to fit the effect.

Sometimes a composite or photo has all the right elements but still needs something to bring them together.
Light and atmospheric effects can help create separation and depth, guide the viewer's eye, soften transitions between elements and establish the overall mood of an image.

A note from me
These are the kinds of effects I use in my own creative work to help build atmosphere, introduce light and bring the different elements of an image together.
Experiment with opacity, blending, masking and placement. You don't need to use an effect at full strength often the smallest adjustment is enough to change how an image feels.

Don't feel you have to use these assets in the obvious way. A frame doesn't always need to sit around the outside of an image, and a piece of vintage paper doesn't have to stay a piece of paper.

COLOUR GRADING ACTIONS is a set of 12 Actions I’ve designed to use in your colour grading workflow.
Each action can be used to add either a hint of contrast, a warming or cooling colour to your image, a colour tone to your image, add orton effect. This set is about adding subtle colours to your image, you can combine the different actions or use them on their own. Use these actions in combination with the different Adjustment Layers such as Level, Curves etc in Photoshop. Experiment and have fun.
