These are the same kinds of textures I use throughout my own creative work. I like to think about what a texture is actually doing for an image, sometimes its role is obvious, sometimes it is barely visible, but it should always have a reason for being there.
My textures are handcrafted from my own original photographs, then developed and refined into creative assets for use in Photoshop and digital artwork. I use them in my own work to add depth, atmosphere and character, always asking one important question: what job is this texture doing in the image?
