Do you ever struggle with creative ideas, go blank when you sit down to create, or have an idea but feel unsure where to start?
Sometimes ideas appear out of nowhere. Other times, we feel like playing, open our software… and nothing seems to happen. Often this isn’t a lack of imagination, but the space between what we can imagine and what our current skillset allows.
This session focuses on how creative ideas take shape, why they sometimes don’t move forward, and how expectation can quietly interfere with the process.
We’ll explore simple ways to support your creative thinking, find your own “thinking space”, and allow time for learning and play without the need for an outcome.
The aim isn’t to force creativity, but to help you leave feeling calmer, inspired, and with a clearer sense of direction for your own creative journey.
You’ll learn:
Why creative ideas can feel stuck or hard to start
The difference between imagination and skillset, and why that gap is normal
How pressure and expectation can block creative flow
Simple ways to support creative thinking and form habits
How allowing time, learning, and play can help ideas develop more naturally
