“I had the pleasure of attending the Travel Photography Presentation given by Sandra, who has a most engaging manner and was willing to pass on her tips and her considerable photographing knowledge.” - Erith French
There was much interaction and audience participation and Sandra answered, in detail, the many questions put to her.Previously I have attended Sandra's Outside and interior Opera House shoots, where she pointed out different angles and reflections that I had not seen. Sandra has a good eye and I intend attending her upcoming 'Art of Seeing Workshop’ which will include her beautiful, soft processing techniques.
“Sandra's presentation style is easy on the ears, the format is interactive, enjoyable, and the content keeps you interested.” - Melvyn Jacobs
This presentation is worthwhile to learn tips, tricks & ideas if photographing on travel tours, without a lot of time, if photographing "on the run", or being a "tourist"; that is those times when you may not have a tripod and or cannot plan your photo opportunities locations Sandra's presentation style is easy on the ears, the format is interactive, enjoyable, and the content keeps you interested. Recommended for anyone who wants to get the most out of their photography in the situations described
“I recently attended Sandra’s Lavender tour in Tasmania and highly recommend her workshops. Sandra delivered everything promised plus some” - Jo Andrews
I recently attended Sandra’s Lavender tour in Tasmania and highly recommend her workshops. Sandra delivered everything promised plus some - there was plenty of time to get all the lavender shots we wanted, with lots of opportunities for other subjects along the way. One on one time with Sandra provided some handy processing tips and a bonus visit to the Bay of Fires topped off the weekend"
"Sandra was on hand to all of us to provide ideas on what to capture whilst allowing you to do your own thing" - Sue Adjorn
I had always wanted to go to Sugar Pine Forest and last weekend was perfect. Sandra's photo workshop was great as i had the opportunity to capture the pines. Sandra was on hand to all of us to provide ideas on what to capture whilst allowing you to do your own thing. This is definitely a workshop that I would go again
"Shoot to process’ will become a part of my learning journey. Thanks Sandra for a great workshop." - Karen Filo
I recently joined one of SandraD’s photography workshops at Sugar Pine Forest. As a left-brain logical, I am creatively challenged, however, being in a small group meant Sandra had the time to coach me personally to help me ‘see’ creative opportunities before I even pressed the shutter. ‘Shoot to process’ will become a part of my learning journey. Thanks Sandra for a great workshop.
"Sandra is able to offer photographic advice and tips to ensure photographers are able to improve their photographic eye" - Bronwyn Bell
I am very interested in architectural photography and Sydney Opera House is the perfect place to try my ideas. Sandra’s tour is one of the few, if any, Opera House Interior Tours in which photographers like myself can get access to the building. Importantly, Sandra is able to organise the tour to coincide with no other people (except staff) in the building. This makes for a unique photography experience. The tour is a well-organised 1 hour walk through some of the interior spaces of the Sydney Opera House, including smaller performance studios and the main concert hall. Sandra is able to offer photographic advice and tips to ensure photographers are able to improve their photographic eye and skills. A worthwhile tour which I will do again.
"I had the opportunity to sit in on The Art of Seeing and Creating Landscapes , it was very inspirational and got you thinking about your own visions." - Meg from Novae Gallery
Novae was pleased to host a fabulous workshop today on The Art of Seeing and Creating Landscapes with the multi award winning photographer SandraD Imagery. I had the opportunity to sit in on this workshop, it was very inspirational and got you thinking about your own visions. Sandra was very generous in her tips and tricks. She also got the participants talking and sharing their experiences and knowledge. A very worthwhile way to spend a Saturday.
"Sandra’s teaching style and ability to convey her message to a diverse audience was refreshing" - Jo Andrews
I recently attended Sandra’s The Art of Seeing workshop and came away with renewed enthusiasm. Sandra’s teaching style and ability to convey her message to a diverse audience was refreshing. From the use of examples to make us think about our own process, to the insights into Sandra’s own process and workflow, I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and can’t wait to put my new knowledge into practice.
"I would highly recommend checking her out" Siobhan Saunders
My recent escapade through the Opera House with SandraD Imagery was fun. I would highly recommend checking her out. She's warm, funny engaging a down to earth talented female photographer.
"If you are thinking this course may not be for me, think again you will get a lot out of it." Dallas Thomas
I attended the Art of Seeing Workshop in June 2018 and found exactly what I was looking for. That was to take my images to the next level with post processing. I’m a left brain type person being artistic and “seeing” is not a strong point. Sandra explained this obstacle could be overcome with practice and experimentation. She provided us with the tools to assist.
"The attention to detail and volume of information" Robin Moon
I thoroughly enjoyed the group size of the workshop Creative Vision, it was well organised in a friendly environment. Though I am already comfortable using Photoshop I learnt heaps, it skilled me up to add the WOW factor to my images. Would highly recommend this workshop for anyone wanting to lift their post processing skills.
“This is the person I would trust and go along with, because in the end, she made my trip successful." Sourav Dasgupta
I hope this testimonial helps guide people who don’t know which photo tour to choose, in a world riddled with photographers doing such tours. I am writing this for Sandra, not only for the fact that she is a great photographer, but also for the amazing person she is. I went to Tasmania last January to shoot lavender farms, where Sandra had already organized her photo tour. She welcomed me in her tour, shared dinner with me, when all restaurants at Bridport were closed, and most importantly, shared her tripod with me, after my airlines had lost it. I was absolutely amazed at her generosity. This is the person I would trust and go along with, because in the end, she made my trip successful.”
"Wow, what an amazing workshop " Deb Newbold
At the Lavender Estate in Tasmania! Thank you Sandra (thoughts of lavender fields are helping me to cope with peak hour traffic), I loved the flexibility, the fun, the banter, the google searches and learnt heaps. When and where are we going next?
