Do your images need visual direction to make them “pop”? You know what you want to do, but lack the skills in Photoshop to fix some of those elements of your image?
The first step is about having a “Visual Direction” for an image. When processing my images, I look at the “big picture” and think how I want my image to look. I use different techniques to get the feel or look I am after in an image. Sometimes I will draw from the colour palette I saw or felt, other times it’s a mood I want to create or how creative I feel or an idea I’ve seen.
I would like to share some of the processing techniques I use in Photoshop to give you the tools to help you create an image that can add that “Visual Impact”.
“Adding Visual Impact” is aimed at Photographers who have a basic to intermediate level of understanding of Photoshop and Working with Layers.
Have a “vision” in mind before you start processing
How to have a “visual plan” before you start processing

How to patch parts of the sky that may be blown out,
